Is it by any chance possible that Berwick might take an interest in coming to Brazil? I find his kind of approach sufficiently easy to popularize for us to try two possibilities: SBPC (too short notice, but who knows?) and IEA. Cesar Ades is the new IEA dean and would be delighted to host a debate on the language evolution issue.
